about me

Well, to be honest, when I first created this blog I had all these big ideas for my "about me" section.
Basically, a spotless cover letter promoting the one and only, me.
Something snazzy, witty, and wise.
Something extravagant and excessively descriptive to make me look like the absolute shit.
I mean...I just graduated from university with a brand spanking new DEGREE.
I have a Bachelor's of Science in Public Relations.

But I am currently having an early-life crisis:

You keep it going man, you keep those books ROLLING.
You, you pick up ALL those books you're going to read and not remember and you ROLL man.
You get that associate's degree, okay.
Then you get your BACHELOR'S, then you get your MASTER'S.
Then you get your MASTER'S MASTER'S,
Then you get your doctorate.
You go man.
And then when everybody says, "Quit", you show them those degrees man.
When everyone says "Hey, you're not working, you're not making any money!"
You say "You look at my degrees and you look at my life. Yeah I'm 52. So what! Hate all you want, but I'm smart, I'm SO smart, and I'm in school, these guys are out here, um, making money all these ways, and I'm spending mine to be smart. You know why?
Cause when I die, buddy...
You know what's going to keep me warm?
That right, those degrees."

That's how I feel right now. Just putting that out there.
I am seriously considering doing a fast-track nursing program at the University of Western Ontario (it's 1.5 years).
I recently got in touch with my soft side and realize I actually have a heart, care about the wellbeing of others, and have that gentle, caring nurse's touch and compassion.
I guess I had it all along, but I wasn't mature enough to embrace it, or the fact that I secretly love anatomy, health magic, and the fascinating machine that, through senses, creates reality as we know it; our bodies.

Cheese on bread. That's all I gotta say about that.
